On the 26th of February 2020, Kalyanram and his siblings performed a Puja to inaugurate a permanent kitchen for Annadanam, at Sri Shirdi Sai Mandir, Tenali. He and his siblings helped construct this kitchen in the loving memory of their parents Sri Gunturi Rajeswar Rao garu and Smt. Gunturi Sundaramma garu. Their father was a leading lawyer in Tenali and also was one of the original temple committee members, who had worked towards the establishment of this Mandir, back in 1944. He and Sundaramma garu were a pious couple, deeply devoted to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and they raised their kids in an environment filled with love, devotion and service. Their family time was filled with noble activities revolving around this temple. All the special events in the family were celebrated starting with prayers at this temple. In fact, for Kalyanram and Vijaya, the first temple puja performed as a married couple was in this very same Mandir! So it is such a fitting tribute to Kalyanram's late parents, to build this kitchen in their honor. May this loving gesture light up hope in the hearts of the poor and the needy, for years to come.....
