Sometime around 2018, the idea of building a new block of classrooms came up and we thought it would be a great way to honor our beloved Madhavapeddi Hanumantha Rao Tatayya, who was one of it’s founders. We worked with the school secretary, Madhavapeddi Nirmala pinni and members of Hanumantha Rao Tatayya’s family to raise funds for this project. We had to face several challenges while this construction was happening- change of secretaries at the school, severe sand shortage, Covid pandemic and so on. But by Baba’s grace, the project picked up under a new leadership at the Hindu college council & at the Pattabhipuram High School and was successfully completed and the new building was inaugurated in August 2021.
Children from low income families around the school now have access to quality education with the latest facilities. We are also helping provide scholarships to needy children who can not afford the tuition fee, thus giving all kids a fair chance to get educated and achieve their goals in life!
