In 2011, we helped present laptop computers to five post graduate students at the Blind School in Guntur. We also worked on motivating them to prepare for job hunting. Over the last eight years, four of them were able to use the laptops to gain more knowledge via internet, using JAWS software that converts reading material into audio. They say the laptops gave them access to latest information and technology in their respective fields and improved their confidence and chances for suitable employment. One by one, four of them got selected for very good jobs - Anand in a Pharmaceutical Firm in Bangalore, Gopichand in State Bank Of Hyderabad, Balaji as a Computer Instructor and more recently Kiran in Canara Bank. Anand and Gopi have also married eligible girls and happily settled in life now.

They all say the laptop was a blessing for each of them and was a turning point towards this kind of bright future! Their feedback touched our hearts and made us realize how a small and sincere act of kindness can produce unbelievable results if the receiver puts in his or her best effort! We are so proud of each of these boys and wish them all the best!!
